Moores, creators of the famous Dorset Knob  and Kingston Maurward College will assist us in supporting this unique Dorset event.

Gents Knob Throwing record has now been beaten, it now stands at 31.9 metres,

Under 12's Knob Throwing. The winning distance was 20.55 metres

Under 12's record was set in 2012 by Max Nuttall @ a distance of 22.55 metres,
 and still stands today.

  Beside Knob Throwing there will be additional fun knob attractions including Knob Eating, Knob Painting, a Knob & Spoon Race, Guess the weight of the Big Knob, Knob Darts and a Knob Pyramid.  and other more traditional entertainment will be laid on to make this a really enjoyable day out with a difference.

The Frome Valley Food Fest will run along side the Knob Throwing. There will be a the opportunity to sample, taste and purchase a fine range of foods including breads, cheeses, ciders, meats game & poultry, pies, preserves, and puddings in addition to chocolate, coffee and wine supplied by well respected local businesses. 

Dogs welcome on leads

CBBC programme "All Over The Place" will be filming at this year's Dorset Knob Throwing festival. Anybody who attends could be caught on camera.  Please let a member of the production team know on the day if anyone does not want to appear in the programme.
